Mihara began as a shoe brand in 1997, founded by the innovative Japanese designer Mihara Yasuhiro. His designs captivate attention with their unique and surprising concepts, consistently pushing the boundaries of conventional fashion. Born in Nagasaki, Japan, in 1972, Mihara entered Tama Art University's textile department in 1993, where he began studying shoe design independently. In 1996, he opened his own shop, "archi doom," with support from local shoe manufacturers. After graduating in 1997, Mihara rebranded his shop to "Mihara" and began showcasing his collections.
