About Canada Goose
Sam Tick established Canada Goose in 1957 and gave it the moniker Metro Sportswear Ltd. at that time. A small warehouse in Toronto housed Metro Sportswear, which specialized in producing wool vests, raincoats, and snowmobile suits that could survive the bitter Canadian winters. Canada Goose makes its on-screen premiere in 2004 in two significant movies: The Day After Tomorrow and National Treasure. It has long been the (un)official jacket of film crews wherever it's cold.
