WHEN DID YOU DECIDE YOU WANTED TO HAVE A CAREER IN FASHION?

''I decided to pursue a career in fashion when I realised that whatever I put my mind to, can happen. I always liked clothes, but I never knew I had the ability or talent to do anything with it. That was until I made my first ever pair of jeans, 5 years ago. People told me they liked them, and even wanted to buy them. It gave me the boost I needed to start.''

WHAT IS THE BIGGEST LESSON YOU LEARNED OVER THE PAST YEARS?

''I have learned so many big lessons over the years, all important in their own sense. One of the biggest lessons I learned comes from something I neglected for a long time, which is building together, instead of by yourself. You can only do so much by yourself, so to truly succeed you need to find likeminded people to connect and work with. This is one of the reasons I started my new project M.J.M.H, I want to create a platform where I can easily offer my skills and services to the world.''

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONAL STYLE?

''Since I started to work with clothing 24/7, dressing myself has become something I do not want to think about too much. I only wear black t-shirts, combined with navy or black tops & pants. On feet usually black leather boots or a classic sneaker. I’d describe my style as stylistic understated.''

''Do not be afraid to share your creations. The more you share, the more chances for success you will force upon yourself.''
