FW26 // NOW COME CLOSER
Every piece in this collection is shown twice. Once from across the room, once up close. That is not a styling choice. It is how clothing gets judged. From a distance you read shape, proportion and colour against everything else on the street. Up close you read the stitch, the weight, the way a button is set. Two different questions, and most clothing only has an answer to the first.
02
Distance is forgiving. A silhouette can be borrowed and a colour can be chosen in an afternoon, and from far enough away that is all anyone sees. Which is why most clothing is made for exactly that moment and no further. Anything looks good from a distance. So we are showing you both.
03
Up close, the outline disappears and only the making is left. FW26 runs on heavyweight french terry zip ups, double layered longsleeves, appliqué work, washed and destroyed finishes, inside out construction and raw edges left exactly as they were cut. Pieces made by people who assumed somebody would eventually look properly. The closer you get, the more there is. That is the whole test, and it is not one that most clothing is built to pass. Up close is where it gets decided.
04
So look at the first frame. Then look at the second. Anything looks good from a distance. Now come closer. FOUR FW26.
